Excellent snow conditions greeted spring break ski enthusiasts this past week on the slopes of the Steamboat Ski Resort. As we approach the final 3 weeks of the ski season in Steamboat Springs, we are fortunate that Mother Nature has provided us with great coverage to for the last weeks of the season.
The Steamboat Pilot newspaper reported 12 closed Steamboat Springs real estate sales last week with a dollar volume of $6,272,895. One was single family, 6 were condo/townhome, 5 were lot/ land and there were no commercial/industrial or fractional closed Steamboat real estate sales this past week.
The Steamboat Springs Board of Realtors reports 154 pending Steamboat area real estate sales today with list price of pending sales dollar volume of $85,309,010. The average pending list price is $553,954 and the median is $400,000. Pending Steamboat Springs real estate transactions with a list price over $1 million comprise 10% of the 154 pending real estate sales, 4% are pending with a list price between $999,999 and $800k, 14% are between $799,999 and $600,000, 23% are pending between $599,999 and $400,000, 12% are pending with a list price in the $300,000s, and 37% are below $300,000. 34% of pending Steamboat real estate sales are single family, 40% are condo/townhome, 14% are lot/land, 10% are commercial/industrial, and 2% of pending Steamboat Springs area real estate transactions are fractional sales.
